Job summary

Cury School in Cornwall is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEMH needs. The role is 30.5 hours per week during term time, with inset days, working alongside teachers and support staff. Training on safeguarding, PRICE, trauma-informed practice, and SEN support will be provided.

Experience in a school setting and a warm, empathetic approach are essential, as is a commitment to ongoing professional development to meet the needs of the pupils and the class.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting pupils with SEMH needs, severe physical and/or learning difficulties is desirable.
• Experience in a school setting is desirable.
• A warm and empathetic personality is vital, as is a desire to work professionally with others to ensure we provide the best possible support for our pupils.
