Five Education is seeking compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistants to support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs in Plymouth. This role offers a daily rate of £90 and a welcoming school environment with potential for longer-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• SEMH Teaching Assistant role supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.
• No formal experience required, but backgrounds in youth work, mental health or safeguarding are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEMH needs 1:1 or in small groups.
• Help students manage emotions, behaviour and social interactions.
• Build positive relationships and provide structured support with teachers and SENCOs.
