Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a SEMH Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs in an SEMH school in Ealing. The role suits someone with experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Mentor or Youth Worker and a passion for SEND.

You will work with students aged 5-19, including those with challenging behaviour and SEND, building strong relationships and contributing to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people with SEND and/or Autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties and learning difficulties or experience with SEMH, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication.
• Teaching Assistant / Learning Mentor / Youth Worker experience
• Ability to build a strong and meaningful relationship
• A passion for working with SEND is essential
