Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to support students with social, emotional and mental health needs at a Warrington provision. The role is offered on a temp to perm basis with an ASAP start, supporting learners both in and out of the classroom to promote emotional regulation and engagement.

Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs.
Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.
Previous experience in a school or alternative provision setting.

Genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs.

Responsibilities

Support students with SEMH needs in and out of the classroom.
Help manage behaviour and provide emotional support.
