Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking several SEMH Teaching Assistants for a specialist secondary SEMH school in Freckleton, starting September. The roles are full-time and offer up to £600 per week with long-term stability and opportunities to develop skills in emotional regulation and trauma-informed practice.

You will work across classroom and on-site activity sessions, including the Farm, helping pupils build confidence, independence and positive relationships.

Qualifications

• Psychology graduates strongly encouraged to apply.
• Experience in SEMH, SEN, youth work, care, mentoring, or support work is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils during lessons and activities, including on the school's on-site farm.
• Help pupils develop confidence, emotional regulation and positive relationships.
• Assist with behaviour support and pastoral care as part of a nurturing team.
