Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a specialist SEND setting in Walsall to recruit an SEMH Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis with an immediate start.

You will provide individual and classroom support, help pupils engage with learning, and work closely with teaching staff to develop confidence and independence.

The role offers PAYE, a daily rate of £95-£115, and ongoing CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or young people with SEND.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs.
• Ability to work with pupils across different ages.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Patient, resilient and adaptable approach.

Responsibilities
