Empowering Learning Ltd is seeking a Social, Emotional and Mental Health Teaching Assistant to join a SEND specialist school on the Nottinghamshire/Lincolnshire border. The role starts in September 2026 and requires driving due to rural location.

You will support children during lessons, assist staff at lunchtimes, and deliver personalised learning plans tailored to each pupil's needs, while managing behaviours with care and promoting inclusion.

Formación

• Experience working with young people and SEND pupils.
• Ability to manage behavioural difficulties with care.
• Well-organised with excellent communication.
• Experience in a school setting is favourable.

Responsabilidades

• Support children during lessons and school activities.
• Support staff and children during lunch and break times.
• Plan and deliver personalised learning based on individual needs.
• Deliver 1:1 or small group activities to support learning.
• Collect evidence of children's work to support assessment.
• Provide physical management and care of pupils as required.
