Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is recruiting a full-time SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist educational setting in West Denton, Newcastle. The role focuses on supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs within small class settings and a relationship-centered approach.

You'll work 1:1 and in small groups, build strong relationships, and help learners regulate emotions, contributing to a positive learning environment and ongoing pupil progress.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in education, care, youth work, residential support or behaviour support would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Helping learners regulate emotions and manage challenges

• Building strong and trusting relationships
