The successful candidate will provide one-to-one support for students with additional needs, help deliver targeted interventions, and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

About the role:

Justteachers are working with a mainstream Primary School to appoint a SEMH Teaching Assistant to work in their Provision on a full-time basis to start in September 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils in their academic, social, and emotional development
• Assist with planning and delivering targeted interventions
• Provide one-to-one support for pupils with additional needs
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Manage challenging behaviour in class

Pre-requisites:

• Experience working with SEMH
• A calm, patient, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for education and child development
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• Two school-based references
