Job summary

Just Teachers Ltd is seeking a full-time SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Halifax, starting in June 2026. Qualifications

Overview

Justteachers is seeking a full-time SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant specialist school starting in June 2026 in the Halifax area to cover on a long-term basis. Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent)
  • Proven experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs or challenging behaviour
  • Strong knowledge of behaviour management strategies and SEMH support approaches
  • Two education or school-based references
