Tradewind Recruitment are partnered with a Bedfordshire Alternative Provision school seeking an experienced and resilient Teaching Assistant to join their team. The role focuses on SEMH and SEN pupils in a smaller-group setting to maximise progress.

You will assist classroom activities and provide 1:1 and small-group support in a dynamic environment, with an immediate start for a long-term role through July and potential extension.

Qualifications

• Experience working with SEMH/SEN in UK schools.
• Ability to support pupils academically and emotionally.
• Comfortable working in small groups and 1:1 settings.

Responsibilities

• Support the whole class during lessons and activities.
• Provide 1:1 support and small-group assistance for SEMH/SEN pupils.
• Assist with classroom tasks and student engagement.
• Uphold safeguarding and wellbeing of students.
