Job summary

Colmore Education Recruitment Ltd is seeking an SEMH Specialist to work across Stafford and Dudley in SEMH provisions. This full-time role involves supporting children and young people with SEMH needs, challenging behaviour and additional needs, helping them engage with education and develop positive behaviours.

You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, help regulate emotions, build positive relationships, support learning, and participate in outdoor and practical activities with teachers

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children and young people is essential
• Experience with SEMH or challenging behaviour is essential
• Calm, patient and consistent approach
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Relevant education, care, youth work or support experience is desirable

SEMH Specialist – SEMH Provision

Location: Stafford & Dudley

Job Type: Full-Time

Start Date: ASAP

We are looking for experienced Behaviour Specialists and Teaching Assistants to work within SEMH provisions across Stafford and Dudley.

You will be supporting children and young people with SEMH needs, challenging behaviour and additional needs, helping them engage with education and develop positive behaviours.
