Job description

Here at Principal Resourcing, we are seeking to appoint an exceptional Teaching Assistant to join the dedicated team at one of our partnership Primary Schools based in Leeds.The full-time role will have a particular focus on supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils, helping them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential!The Primary School offers a vibrant and happy community of learning, catering for pupils aged 3-11 years. Set in extensive and picturesque grounds, they aim to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum experience that recognises the individual talents of pupils and supports them to thrive.You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role, depending on experience.The role will include:

  • Working with children on a one to one and small group basis.
  • Working in classes across school supporting children.
  • Delivering evidence-based interventions for children with SEMH and SEND needs.
  • Working closely with the SENDCo to plan and prioritise sessions for children.
We are seeking a candidate with:
  • A full and relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • A kind, caring and consistent approach.
  • Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting SEMH pupil progression.
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
  • Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
