Job summary

Aspire People Limited is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils across KS2 to KS4 in Hemel Hempstead. This full-time role runs 8:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, with an ASAP start and involves working across two sites to support students with SEMH needs.

You will assist with lessons, provide individual and small-group support, help students stay focused, and contribute to their emotional regulation and independence while collaborating closely with teachers and the school

Qualifications

We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist setting in Hemel Hempstead, supporting pupils with SEMH needs across KS2, KS3 and KS4.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of the school's support team, you will help pupils overcome barriers to learning and develop greater confidence and independence.

The role will include:

You don't necessarily need previous SEN or SEMH experience.
