Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking a SEMH Teaching Assistant for a rapidly expanding Alternative Provision in Essex. You will support students with SEMH needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them engage with learning and develop essential life and social skills.

The role requires a UK-educated graduate with experience supporting children with SEMH, Autism, trauma-related difficulties, or behavioural challenges, and a strong emotional intelligence, resilience, and adaptability.

Qualifications

Are you an emotionally intelligent, flexible, and charismatic individual seeking a role supporting vulnerable children as a SEMH Teaching Assistant?

A rapidly expanding Alternative Provision in Essex is seeking a graduate to join their team as a SEMH Teaching Assistant, working with students who present with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, Autism, trauma-related difficulties, and behavioural challenges.

As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you'll support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups of up to six students, helping them to engage with learning and develop essential life and social skills.

SEMH Teaching Assistant - Key responsibilities:
