Job summary

The ideal candidate will have SEMH or challenging behaviour experience, be able to set boundaries, stay calm and consistent, and work with staff to promote pupil wellbeing. Salary is £100-£117 per day.

• Experience in schools, youth work, sports coaching, mentoring or care.

SEMH Teaching Assistant - South East London - September Start - £100-£117 per day

Remedy Education are looking for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a school in South East London from September.

The school supports pupils who may present with social, emotional and mental health needs, challenging behaviour, anxiety, low confidence or barriers to learning. This role would suit a candidate who is patient, firm but fair, and passionate about helping young people make progress.

The Role:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs

• Helping pupils access lessons and stay focused throughout the day
