Tradewind Recruitment in Essex is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teacher to join a specialist SEMH setting in Chigwell. You will work with pupils who have experienced challenges in mainstream education, delivering engaging lessons and providing pastoral support.
QTS is preferred, though experienced non-qualified teachers with SEN/SEMH backgrounds will be considered. This full-time role offers immediate start, with temp and temp-to-perm opportunities.
SEMH Teacher - Specialist Setting
Full-Time Monday to Friday Immediate Start
Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a dedicated and resilient Teacher to join a specialist SEMH setting, supporting children and young people who may have experienced difficulties within mainstream education.
This is a genuinely rewarding opportunity to make a real difference. You will support pupils both academically and pastorally, helping them develop confidence, self-belief and positive relationships.
The pupils may have a range of SEMH, behavioural and additional learning needs, requiring a personalised, consistent and nurturing approach. Building positive relationships will be central to helping pupils engage, learn and progress.
You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, provide pastoral support and positive role modelling, manage behaviour calmly and consistently, and work alongside support staff to help pupils achieve their potential.
QTS is preferred, although unqualified teachers with relevant SEN/SEMH, behaviour or specialist education experience will also be considered.
