Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated SEMH Teacher to join a specialist setting in Chigwell, Essex. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with an immediate start and potential temp or temp-to-perm opportunities.

You will support pupils academically and pastorally, helping them develop confidence, positive relationships and progress. QTS is preferred, though experienced unqualified teachers will also be considered.

Qualifications

• QTS preferred, although unqualified teachers with SEN/SEMH, behaviour or specialist education experience will be considered.
• Experience with SEMH, behavioural or specialist education needs is valued.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in a specialist SEMH setting.
• Provide pastoral support and positive role modelling to help pupils engage and progress.
• Work alongside support staff to help pupils achieve their potential and manage behaviour calmly.
