Job summary

Engage Education in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant for the SEMH niche to support a school in Uckfield. You will work with students with complex emotional needs and challenging behaviours, helping to build confidence and social skills in a warm learning environment.

The role requires a proactive, engaging approach and a willingness to train; a driving licence and car are preferred to support travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Experience with SEMH or trauma-informed approaches preferred.
• Full driving licence and own car required.
• DBS check is required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Have experience working with children with complex emotional needs.
• Be extremely confident managing behaviour.
• Demonstrate ability to build professional relationships with children.
