Job summary

The White Horse Federation is seeking a Specialist Teaching Assistant to join St. Luke’s, a vibrant school in Swindon serving students with SEMH needs. The role is permanent, 32.5 hours per week, term-time only, with a pattern of mornings and afternoons across five days.

You will work as part of a supportive, humorous team, assisting pupils with learning, behaviour and pastoral needs while contributing to a positive school culture and safeguarding commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a school environment.
• Enthusiastic and eager to help students learn.
• Tolerant and compassionate with a good sense of humour.
• A strong team-player.
• Experienced in working with students with social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
