Job summary

Qualifications

• HLTA status or significant experience as a Teaching Assistant in an education setting.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour.
• Calm, resilient and positive approach.
• Ability to build strong relationships with young people.
• Confidence supporting learning and managing classroom environments.

Responsibilities

• Cover lessons as required to ensure continuity of learning.
• Support learning across the curriculum and deliver targeted interventions.
• Run small group sessions based on pupil needs.
• Deliver intervention programmes and support engagement and progress.
