Job summary

The ideal candidate will have HLTA status or substantial TA experience, with a calm, resilient approach and the ability to build strong relationships with young people.

Qualifications

• HLTA status or significant experience as a Teaching Assistant in an education setting
• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour
• Calm, resilient and positive approach
• Ability to build strong relationships with young people
• Confidence supporting learning and managing classroom environments

Responsibilities

• Covering lessons when required to ensure continuity of learning
• Supporting learning across the curriculum
• Delivering targeted interventions and small group sessions
• Supporting pupils with engagement, confidence and progress
• Building positive relationships and providing consistent support
• Working closely with teaching staff and the wider support team
