Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd in Gateshead is seeking a Level SEN Teaching Assistant to support SEND pupils in a secondary setting on a full-time, long-term basis.

You will work 1:1 with pupils aged KS3-4 with SEMH needs, supporting engagement across the curriculum and assisting with behaviour and emotional regulation.

Qualifications

• Experience with secondary-aged students in SEND or SEMH.
• DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain.
• Commitment to helping pupils progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for SEMH/SEND pupils.
• Support engagement and learning across the curriculum.
• Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation.
• Collaborate with teaching and support staff.
