Job summary

The Learning Mentor role at Chellaston Academy within Tapestry Learning Partnership supports students at risk of exclusion, delivering academic and pastoral help through in-class and small-group sessions, with a focus on literacy and numeracy. You will work with teaching and pastoral teams to remove barriers to learning and promote positive behaviour.

• Experience supporting students with SEMH needs.
• Ability to plan and deliver targeted literacy and numeracy sessions.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.

Responsibilities

• Support students at risk of permanent exclusion through individual and small-group work.
• Assist teaching staff with in-class support and structured sessions.
• Promote positive behaviour and help students build independence.
