Job summary

Engage Education Hastings is seeking a dedicated SEMH Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with SEMH needs in a specialist provision. This full-time role starts in September and offers a long-term opportunity with potential for permanent placement.

Full-time | September Start | Long-term Opportunity | £90-100 per day

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs?

We are working with a specialist SEMH provision in Hastings that supports primary and secondary-aged pupils. They are looking to appoint a dedicated SEMH Learning Support Assistant to join their team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with additional social, emotional and behavioural needs, helping them thrive both in and beyond the classroom.

We welcome applications from candidates with a range of experience. Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, trauma, attachment needs or challenging behaviour is highly desirable, but training and ongoing support will be provided for the right candidate.
