Senovo Capital Management GmbH in Croydon is recruiting a SEMH Learning Mentor to support children and young people in an SEN education setting. You will provide one-to-one, small-group and classroom support, following EHCPs and strategies, and adapt resources to help pupils participate and progress.

The role requires patience, reliability and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team; QTS is not required.

Formación

• Relevant experience supporting children or young people in education, SEN, care, youth or community settings is desirable.
• Patient, reliable and confident working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• QTS is not required for this support role.
• Useful experience includes SEMH support, emotional regulation, positive behaviour support, restorative practice, safeguarding.

Responsabilidades

• Provide consistent one-to-one, small-group and classroom support.
• Follow EHCPs, learning plans and strategies agreed by teaching and therapy staff.
• Adapt resources and communication so pupils can participate successfully.
• Encourage positive behaviour, emotional regulation, independence and wellbeing.
• Share clear observations with the wider team and uphold excellent safeguarding practice.
