Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated SEMH Learning Mentor for a full-time, long-term role in Gosforth. You will support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, helping them develop resilience and re-engage with education.

You will help pupils build coping strategies, deliver mentoring sessions and promote positive behaviour within the school day. A Psychology or Criminology background is welcomed, with safeguarding training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH is desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal and mentoring skills.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with young people.
