Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is recruiting a SEMH Learning Mentor in Heaton to support pupils who may struggle with emotional regulation and engagement with learning.

You will build relationships with pupils, support their emotional regulation, and deliver mentoring and intervention sessions while working closely with teaching and pastoral teams to promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.

Qualifications

• Experience or understanding of SEMH needs and behaviour support.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
• Willingness to undertake safeguarding checks and training.

SEMH Learning Mentor – Heaton (Full-Time)

Some young people need more than academic support. They need someone who believes in them.

A specialist SEMH setting in Heaton is looking for an enthusiastic SEMH Learning Mentor to support pupils who may struggle with emotional regulation, behaviour and engagement with learning.

You’ll help pupils develop resilience, confidence and positive coping strategies while supporting them to achieve success in school.

Location: Heaton
Pay: £92.63 - £105 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
