Job summary

Thorns Collegiate Academy is seeking a SEMH Intervention Manager to lead targeted support for students with SEMH needs, enabling access to learning and positive outcomes. You will join a skilled Inclusion team and be supported by an experienced SENCO to drive the department’s continued development.

The role involves coordinating SEMH provision, wellbeing activities, and close liaison with families and external agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and safeguarding practices.
• Highly organised with ability to manage a varied workload.
• Ability to work in partnership with families and external agencies.
• Inspires and supports vulnerable students and maintains intervention records.

Responsibilities

• SEMH Provision and Intervention: identify and support SEMH needs, plan interventions, oversee space operations.
• Wellbeing and Student Support: deliver wellbeing provisions and guidance for anxious or dysregulated students.
• EHCP and Intervention Monitoring: support EHCP applications and annual reviews, track progress.
