Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated Humanities Teacher to work in a SEMH school in Willenhall. You will deliver Humanities to GCSE and functional skills levels 1/2, supporting students with SEMH both in and out of the classroom.

Join a supportive team and implement behaviour management strategies, build professional relationships and contribute to behaviour plans and pastoral support. A vehicle is accessible for this role.

• Experience working with young people with SEMH.
• Strong communication, resilience and emotional intelligence.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and use positive behaviour strategies.
• Commitment to helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.

About the Role

• Support students with SEMH, both in and out of the classroom
• Implement behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques
• Work 1:1 or with small groups to help pupils re-engage with learning
• Build trusting, professional relationships that promote positive behaviour
• Create a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment
• Contribute to behaviour plans and pastoral support programmes
• Access to a Vehicle
• Be able to deliver Humanities to functional skills level 1/2 and to GCSE
