TeacherActive Limited. is recruiting for a confident HLTA to support pupils with SEMH needs at a specialist provision in Liverpool (L16).

The role is permanent and starts November 2026, with responsibilities including small-group interventions, 1:1 support and leading lessons where required. The successful candidate will have an HLTA qualification or equivalent, experience with SEMH and challenging behaviour, and strong behaviour management and communication skills to inspire learners and build

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or equivalent
• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour
• Experience delivering targeted small-group interventions
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Confidence to lead planned lessons and adapt learning to pupil needs
• Patient, resilient and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills
