Zusammenfassung

Esland Group is seeking a qualified SEN English Lead Teacher for our Daven School in Congleton. You will lead the English department, deliver high-quality lessons tailored to SEND/SEMH needs, and support pupil development.

You will train staff, manage ILPs, contribute to EHCP reviews, and promote safeguarding while working with families and external agencies to create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment.

Qualifikationen

QTS and a relevant degree are essential.
Strong understanding of SEND and SEMH required.
Knowledge of assessment frameworks and progress tracking is essential.
Excellent behaviour management and inclusive teaching strategies.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.

Aufgaben

Plan and deliver lessons across the English department.
Upskill and train staff.
Ensure baseline assessments are completed.
Provide phonics and literacy intervention.
Oversee reading strategies.
Support ILPs and pupil development.
Contribute to EHC plans and PEP meetings.
Foster a safe, inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with families and external agencies.
