Connex Education Partnership is looking for SEMH Class Teachers to work across specialist SEND schools and alternative education settings in Gloucester and the surrounding areas.
This role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys creating a structured, purposeful and supportive classroom where pupils can rebuild their confidence in education.
You’ll deliver engaging lessons while taking a whole-child approach, supporting pupils not only academically but also with their relationships, emotional wellbeing, behaviour and independence.
You may work with children and young people who have experienced barriers to education, including difficulties with behaviour, emotional regulation, anxiety, relationships or school engagement.
Pupils may present with SEMH, ADHD, autism, trauma and attachment needs, communication difficulties or additional SEND.
Many will benefit from predictable routines, clear expectations and a teacher who can recognise when a pupil needs challenge, encouragement, space or additional support.
Experience in specialist education, alternative provision, nurture settings or pastoral roles would be advantageous.
