Vetro Recruitment is partnering with a high-performing SEMH special school in Wirral to recruit a Behaviour Support Assistant. You will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils’ behaviour and well-being, ensuring access to quality education across key stages.

The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining the school’s outstanding standards and supportive ethos, with opportunities for ongoing professional development in a vibrant Wirral community.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children/young people, particularly in SEMH or SEND settings.
• NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
• Enhanced DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with behavioural and emotional needs in classroom settings or small groups.
• Assist teachers in implementing behaviour management strategies and personalised support plans.
• Promote positive behaviour and well-being to create a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Skills

Education
