Ribbons & Reeves are recruiting a Behaviour Mentor for a specialist school in Greenwich, South East London. The role focuses on supporting students with SEMH needs and behavioural challenges within a dedicated provision.

Responsibilities

• Support students with SEMH needs, behavioural difficulties and learning barriers.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with students who struggled in mainstream education.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group behavioural support inside and outside the classroom.
• Use positive reinforcement, clear boundaries and routines to encourage positive behaviour.
• Support emotional regulation, conflict resolution and social skills.
• Help students manage frustration, anxiety and challenging situations with calm communication.
• Work with teachers and pastoral staff to maintain a safe, structured learning environment.
• Encourage attendance, engagement and positive attitudes toward education.
