Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting SEMH Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Wigan's Primary and Specialist SEND schools. You will work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils needing emotional and behavioural support, building strong relationships to promote learning and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
• Support pupils with SEMH needs, Autism, or behavioural challenges.
• Promote emotional regulation and help overcome barriers to learning.
• Build positive relationships to enable pupils to thrive in and out of the classroom.
• Collaborate with school staff to support individual education plans.
