TeacherActive is recruiting a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant for a specialist alternative provision in the Liverpool area. You will support pupils aged 11-16 with SEMH needs, helping them re-engage with learning and manage emotions.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs.
• Proven experience managing challenging behaviour in education or care settings.
• Calm, patient, resilient approach to behaviour management.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEMH needs to stay engaged with learning.
• Assist with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
• Promote positive behaviours and wellbeing within the school environment.
