Job summary

Inverclyde Council is seeking a Lead Officer for Self-Directed Support (1x FTE) at Grade 10. Based at Municipal Buildings, you will provide strategic leadership to develop, implement and continuously improve SDS across the HSCP, working with practitioners, managers and partners to embed person-centred approaches and deliver outcomes.

You will lead on policy, strategy, governance, performance and practice development, ensuring SDS is delivered in line with legislation and best practice.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading Self-Directed Support (SDS) development and delivery.
• Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities.
• Proven ability to collaborate with practitioners, managers and partner organisations.
• Commitment to rights-based, strengths-focused approaches.
