Procter & Gamble in the UK invites university students graduating in 2027 or 2028 to join its 10-week HR summer internship. You will work on live HR projects across Talent Management, Recruitment, Employee Relations and Equality & Inclusion, with mentorship from experienced managers.
The role offers competitive pay (£2,625 monthly) and benefits such as a pension, flexible working, and a 'Flex4Me' fund; there is potential to secure a full-time position after graduation.
Are you passionate about developing people and leading change? Do you want to make a meaningful impact within a company that owns globally renowned brands like Gillette, Pampers, Head & Shoulders, and Oral-B? Do you want to intern at a company consistently recognised as one of the UK's leading graduate employers? Forget what you think you know about working in HR; this is not business as usual. HR is a strategic partner to the business, this means you could work on leading the organisation through change, shaping the future of work, or building best in class employee engagement. We're more than just benefits and payroll (but you'll find that, too), you'll be at the heart of helping some of the world's greatest professional talent - including yourself!
During your 10-week summer internship, you will get a first-hand experience of what a career in HR with P&G involves, and if it is right for you. You will be working on live business HR projects and expected to dive straight in and take the lead. Previous HR internship projects have covered all aspects of HR including Talent Management, Recruitment, Employee Relations, and Equality & Inclusion. Previous interns have helped shape our recruitment strategy, implemented new benefit programmes, developed training programmes, and so much more! We have roles based in Weybridge, Surrey which is an easy commute from London with regular trains from Waterloo and Clapham Junction. We also have roles in our London Manufacturing Plant which is easily accessible from the city of London, and in our Reading and Newcastle Innovation Centres.
Start date: The summer internship is available from 5th July 2027 until 10th September 2027. We expect you to be available for the full duration. Right to Work: For our internship roles, you will need to provide your own right to work in the UK for the full duration of your internship without requiring sponsorship from P&G. Note, this will require your right to work permission to be valid between 5th July 2027 until 10th September 2027 for a minimum of 37.5 hours per week. P&G is legally required to ensure all candidates have the right to work in the UK from Day 1 of their employment. All applicants will therefore be asked to provide evidence of their right to work at the conclusion of the recruitment process as a condition of employment.
As part of our application process, your virtual interviews will be conducted by managers working in the business you have applied for who are committed to finding the next generation of talent here at P&G! In order to fairly assess all candidates, our internship offers will only be extended at the end of our recruitment process, once all candidates have been processed. Finalist candidates can therefore expect to have an outcome before the end of the year! At P&G #weseeequal We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. At P&G we strive to build a culture where everyone feels welcome, included, and able to bring their full selves to work. We champion social mobility and believe socio-economic status should not be a barrier to accessing job opportunities. That's why in addition to this internship being paid, we offer provision of all the necessary technology and electronic equipment, access to a range of benefits, and financial support if you need to relocate for your internship - such as covering the cost of travel to your internship location.
