Job summary

Farming Jobs Limited seeks a Seed Sales Specialist to develop and manage sales across the North Midlands and North East Midlands, promoting agricultural seed products to farmers and businesses. You will engage with arable farmers, provide practical product advice, and build long-term relationships while identifying new opportunities.

You will travel regularly to farmers, agronomists and farming groups, support campaigns, and contribute to revenue growth in a dynamic agricultural market.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in agriculture or related industry.
• Practical farming experience with good understanding of UK agriculture.
• Interest in arable farming, crop production and seed products.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated and commercially focused in developing new business.
• Ability to manage a geographical sales territory and build long-term relationships.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the designated territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales across the North Midlands and North East Midlands territory.
• Promote and sell a range of agricultural seed products to farmers and agricultural customers.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities while maintaining existing relationships.
• Prepare territory sales plans to support development, retention and growth.
• Visit farmers to understand requirements and recommend suitable products.
• Engage with agronomists and farming groups to support business development.
• Introduce additional products to existing customers and support campaigns.
• Attend trade shows and industry events; provide product information and advice.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity in the CRM.
• Provide sales forecasts and regular updates on territory performance.
