Job summary

Get Staff in the South-East England is seeking an experienced Security Systems Engineer to service, maintain and install CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems across education sites and commercial premises.

The role involves travel across Kent, Sussex, Surrey, London, Essex and surrounding counties, with a stable, long-term position, full-time hours 8:00am–4:30pm, and a company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and maintaining CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems.
• Knowledge of manufacturers such as Hikvision, Avigilon, Dahua, Texecom, Galaxy, Honeywell, Paxton, Salto, Advanced, Protec and Gent is advantageous.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Willingness to travel across the South-East.
• Must pass an Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, fault-find and repair CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems.
• Install CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems when required.
• Cover customer sites across Kent, Sussex, Surrey, London, Essex and surrounding counties.
• Work predominantly within public and private education settings.
• Complete service reports and associated paperwork accurately.
• Occasionally work on Fire Alarm and Automatic Gate systems, with training provided if required.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
