Job summary

Elk Recruitment in Belfast is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to install, commission, service and maintain intruder alarm systems, CCTV with IP networking, access control and fire systems.

The role involves setting up remote access, linking to monitoring stations, completing paperwork and joining the on-call rota. A full driving licence and several years in a similar role are desirable.

Qualifications

• In depth knowledge of Electronic Security Technology.
• Experience with Gate Automation is a plus.
• Attention to detail with the capacity to trace problems to root cause.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Liaise with customers by phone, email and in person.

Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning, service and maintenance of intruder alarm systems.
• Installation, commissioning, service and maintenance of CCTV systems with IP networking experience.
• Installation, commissioning, service and maintenance of Access Control Systems.
• Installation, commissioning, service and maintenance of Fire Systems.
• Set up remote access to CCTV and intruder alarm systems.
• Set up and test connections to monitoring stations.
• Complete all paperwork.
• Participate on the on-call rota.
