Job summary

Vigilant Security in Edinburgh is seeking a Supervisor Mobile Officer to oversee multiple sites across the city. The role requires you to drive a client vehicle when needed and to uphold the highest standards of security and professionalism at all times.

Duties include mobile patrols, responding to alarm activations, site visits, reporting incidents, and maintaining safety procedures. You must hold a current SIA licence and a full UK driving licence, with full training provided where required.

Qualifications

• Experience with mobile and site-based security is desirable; training will be provided.

• Maintaining an accurate record of any incidents that occur.
• In addition to these functions' employees are required to undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required.

Supervisor Mobile Officer

Vigilant Security is currently recruiting a Security Supervisor - Mobile Officer located in Edinburgh. The officer will be responsible for servicing a number of sites in Edinburgh. This job requires you to drive a client vehicle when required

Scope

• Location: Edinburgh
• Contract: Permanent
• Working Pattern: 4 on 4 off
• Pay Rate: £17.20 p/h

SIA Licence and Driving License is required. The officer will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day security requirements at various prestigious sites, maintaining a good corporate image and high standards of professionalism.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities Mobile Team/Keyholding

• Ensure the company vehicle is road worthy at all times (Daily Vehicle Checks).
• Respond to all alarm activations in a timely manner.
• Accurately report all findings from alarm activations.
• Maintaining an accurate record of any incidents that occur using the appropriate reporting procedure.
• Unlock / lock up client's premises in line with the Assignment Instructions and client's procedures.
• Ensure all relevant information is passed over on handover
• Complete schedules to record site visits.
• Complete all required key registers and seal logs.
• Inform line managers of any changes to details/job specifics/issues at site.

Personal Specification

• Current SIA license.
• Full Clean driving licence (held for a minimum of 5 years)
• Experience with Mobile and key Holding duties preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
• Smart and confident.
• Reliable and self-motivated.
• Flexible approach to work.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good I.T Skills, use of Samsung Tablet
• Customer/client awareness.
