Job summary

Sentinel Group Security is seeking an experienced Mobile Security Officer / Keyholder for the Cambridge area. The role involves mobile patrols, locking/unlocking premises, alarm response and incident reporting, using a company vehicle. Immediate start offered with an optional progression path.

Your duties include maintaining high standards of customer service while representing SGS professionally, and ensuring safety and security across multiple sites. A full UK driving licence is mandatory.

Qualifications

• SIA licence required (Door Supervisor or Security Guarding).
• Full UK Driving Licence essential.
• Experience in mobile security, keyholding, lock/unlock, alarm response, or mobile patrols.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites.
• Right to work in the UK.

Sentinel Guard Security (SGS) is seeking an experienced Mobile Security Officer / Keyholder to join our growing team in the Cambridge area. This is an excellent opportunity for an SIA-licensed security professional with mobile patrol, keyholding, and building lock-up experience. You will be responsible for securing commercial and educational premises using a fully maintained company vehicle.

Work Location: On the road

Shift Start Time: 19:00 NIGHTS Hours May Vary

Key Responsibilities

• Keyholding services.
• Locking and unlocking business and school buildings.
• Mobile security patrols.
• Alarm response and site attendance.
• Internal and external security inspections.
• Completing mobile patrols and incident reports.
• Reporting security, safety, and maintenance issues.
• Delivering excellent customer service while representing Sentinel Guard Security (SGS) professionally.

Essential Requirements

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence or SIA Security Guarding Licence.
• Full UK Driving Licence (ESSENTIAL).
• Previous experience inMobile Security,Keyholding,Lock & Unlock Services,Alarm Response, orMobile Patrols.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites.
• Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused.
• Right to work in the UK.
