Job summary

Securitas UK in Melton Mowbray is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead and develop a team of Security Officers on a 10-hour day shift, Monday to Friday. You will manage rotas, monitor performance, and act as the main contact for client relations, reporting and incident handling.

The role requires a valid SIA licence, proven supervisory experience, and strong leadership and communication skills. A range of benefits and development opportunities are available from day one.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence.
• Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history or ability to provide evidence for gaps.
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and develop a team of Security Officers.
• Manage rotas, ensuring full cover for absence and holidays.
• Monitor performance, conduct 1-1s, and maintain high standards.
• Oversee incident reporting and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Maintain site documentation, training, and assignment instructions.
• Act as first point of contact for operational issues and escalations.
• Ensure effective use of security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms).
