Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to lead and support our security team across retail sites in Glasgow. You will oversee duties, maintain a visible presence, and act as first point of escalation.

Requirements: valid SIA Licence, valid Driving Licence with access to own vehicle, supervisory security experience, strong communication and report writing skills, and flexibility for nights and weekends. BS7858 screening will be conducted.

About The Role:

SHIFT PATTERN - Working variable shifts across Days, Weekends and Public Holidays

We are seeking an experienced and professional Security Supervisor to lead and support our security team. In this role, you will ensure that all security duties are carried out efficiently, maintain a visible security presence, and act as the first point of escalation for incidents across assigned sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support security officers, ensuring duties are executed effectively.
• Conduct site patrols, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Maintain a visible security presence and respond promptly to security-related incidents.
• Liaise with clients and management to ensure service excellence.
• Train, mentor, and develop security staff to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Manage shift scheduling, reporting, and key control procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid SIA Licence.
• ValidDriving Licenseandaccess to own vehicle
• Proven experience in security with a supervisory or leadership background.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick, effective decisions.
• Excellent report writing skills and computer literacy.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.

Additional Requirements

All successful applicants will be required to undergo screening and vetting in line with BS7858 standards.
