Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland in Inverness is recruiting a Security Officer to provide first line support for staff and visitors. You will monitor fire, security and building systems and respond to incidents promptly, while conducting regular patrols to ensure premises safety.

Ideal candidates hold a valid SIA licence, a driving licence, and have the right to work in the UK. Experience in the security industry is advantageous and you must be able to work day or night shifts on a 4 on 4 off pattern.

About The Role

Shift Pattern: This position is for both day shifts and night shifts, 4 on 4 off.

As a Security Officer, you will be the first line of support for employees and visitors to the site, providing a professional and friendly service. You will be responsible for monitoring fire, security, and building systems, ensuring that all assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner, and in compliance with relevant legislation.

The ideal candidate
  • You must have the right to work in the UK
  • Experience of working within the Security Industry is an advantage

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
