Job Title: Security Solution Architect (Hardening /OT Networks)

Location: Warwick, with 1-2 days onsite per month

Responsibilities:

• Integrate new technology capabilities securely into gas operations, ensuring robust security measures.
• Define and document security architecture blueprints, focusing on threat modelling and risk assessments.
• Establish security standards and best practices for cloud, physical, and operational technologies.
• Collaborate with development teams to embed security controls into application design.
• Lead security architecture reviews and provide expert guidance on security challenges.
• Stay updated on security threat assessment frameworks like OWASP and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Assess and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to new technologies and initiatives.
• Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
• Communicate security risks and mitigation strategies to senior leadership.
• Promote security initiatives and foster collaboration across teams.

About You:

• Excellent communicator with strong writing skills, capable of building trust and influencing stakeholders.
• Passionate about emerging technologies and able to articulate solutions engagingly.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles such as authentication, authorization, encryption, network, and application security.
• Experience with cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related technologies.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing complex security solutions.

• Strong relationship-building skills, capable of collaborating with architecture groups and wider teams.
