Job Title: Security Solution Architect (Hardening /OT Networks)

Location: Warwick, 1-2 days onsite per month

Join a forward-thinking organisation dedicated to connecting people to the energy they use safely, reliably, and efficiently! We are seeking a passionate and experienced Security Solution Architect to enhance the security of our gas operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Securely integrate new technology capabilities into gas operations, ensuring robust security measures.
2. Define and document security architecture blueprints, focusing on threat modelling and risk assessments.
3. Establish security standards and best practices for cloud, physical, and operational technologies.
4. Collaborate with development teams to embed security controls into application design.
5. Lead security architecture reviews and provide expert guidance on complex security challenges.
6. Stay updated on the latest security threat assessment frameworks, including OWASP and MITRE ATT&CK.
7. Assess and ensure compliance with industry regulations and security standards.
8. Identify and mitigate risks associated with new technologies and initiatives.
9. Conduct security assessments to pinpoint vulnerabilities.
10. Communicate security risks and mitigation strategies to senior leadership.
11. Advocate for security initiatives and foster collaboration across teams.

About You:

1. A confident communicator with excellent writing skills, able to build trust and influence stakeholders.
2. Passionate about emerging technologies and can articulate solutions in an engaging manner.
3. Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including authentication, authorization, encryption, network security, and application security.
4. Experienced in cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated security technologies.
5. Proven experience in designing and implementing security solutions for complex enterprise environments.
6. Familiarity with ICS/SCADA/OT environments and industry standards such as NIST, CIS benchmarks, and CAF Framework.
7. Strong relationship-building skills, capable of collaborating with architecture groups and wider teams.
