Job Title: Security Solution Architect (Hardening /OT Networks)

Location: Warwick, 1-2 days onsite per month

Join a forward-thinking organisation dedicated to connecting people to the energy they use safely, reliably, and efficiently! We are seeking a passionate and experienced Security Solution Architect to enhance the security of our gas operations.

Responsibilities:

• Securely integrate new technology capabilities into gas operations, ensuring robust security measures.
• Define and document security architecture blueprints, focusing on threat modelling and risk assessments.
• Establish security standards and best practices for cloud, physical, and operational technologies.
• Collaborate with development teams to embed security controls into application design.
• Lead security architecture reviews and provide expert guidance on complex security challenges.
• Stay updated on the latest security threat assessment frameworks, including OWASP and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Assess and ensure compliance with industry regulations and security standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with new technologies and initiatives.
• Conduct security assessments to pinpoint vulnerabilities.
• Communicate security risks and mitigation strategies to senior leadership.
• Advocate for security initiatives and foster collaboration across teams.

About You:

• A confident communicator with excellent writing skills, able to build trust and influence stakeholders.
• Passionate about emerging technologies and can articulate solutions in an engaging manner.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including authentication, authorisation, encryption, network security, and application security.
• Experienced in cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated security technologies.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing security solutions for complex enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with ICS/SCADA/OT environments and industry standards such as NIST, CIS benchmarks, and CAF Framework.
• Strong relationship-building skills, capable of collaborating with architecture groups and wider teams.
